Who we are

What we collect

When you use our contact form we collect your name, your email address or phone number, and the content of your message. When you place a shop order we collect your name, delivery address, email address, order details, and payment information processed by Stripe (we do not store your full card number). Personalisation text or images you upload for custom products are used only to fulfil your order.

Why we collect it

We use your details to read and respond to enquiries, process and deliver orders, and keep reasonable business records. The lawful bases are contract (when you buy from us), legitimate interest (answering enquiries), and steps at your request before a contract.

Where it goes

Enquiries and order notifications are delivered to bcdesigns68@gmail.com. Card payments are processed by Stripe on Rebecca Penrose's merchant account. Our website is built and hosted by Underdown Labs Limited (trading as UF Labs), who act as a data processor on our behalf for hosting, the contact form, and shop infrastructure. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and order records only as long as we need them to respond, fulfil orders, and meet tax and legal obligations, then we remove them when no longer required.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to object to how we use it. To make a request, email bcdesigns68@gmail.com. If you are not happy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies needed to operate this website and shop (for example security, load balancing, basket state, and checkout). We do not use advertising cookies or visitor analytics cookies on this site unless we tell you otherwise before enabling them.
